Soon this will have many of the assorted Frequently Asked Questions about various areas and aspects of this website and projects associated with it (and me). Short answers to current general questions are below.
What’s with the weird date formatting?
In any area that involves international readers and dates there will always be some confusion – not all countries and regions use the same date formats, and some neuro-differences make different date formats easier or harder to understand. The two most common formats are mm-dd-yyy (used extensively in the US) and dd-mm-yyyy (used in a majority of other countries). Depending on the standards of where you are from, the same date notation can be read very differently! (5-12-2020 can be read as May 12 or as December 5.) To help avoid that confusion, and to make dates easier to read for my own particular neuro-difference, where applicable here dates will be in the format of dd mmm yyyy (such as 5 Dec 2020 in the above example).
